Founded in 2007 by Greg Vooght, Nicki Podbery and Alex Dix, Westexe was established with the sole aim to provide a highly skilled professional service, whilst still maintaining a personal, friendly approach. Recognising that each and every customer has different, specific needs, has enabled us to provide a unique service within the industry.

The company ethos has been fundamental in the rapid growth and success of the business and having established itself as one of the South West’s leading forklift companies, Westexe has continued to grow from strength to strength and are now recognised nationally within the industry.

Committed to offering consistently high standards, Westexe have been successful in securing dealerships with industry leading brands including Doosan Infracore, STILL, Hyster, Hako and Pramac. These flourishing partnerships have enabled Westexe to secure a wide range of quality business customers throughout the region, supplying superior, dependable products that combine outstanding performance with great value.

The Team

In 2016 we moved into our new purpose-built Head Office in Exeter which together with three other strategically placed depots in Plymouth, Truro and Barnstable, means that we are able to offer a rapid response service to all of our customers throughout Devon and neighbouring counties.

Employing a skilled staffing team of 60, including 18 field engineers, and 4 workshop engineers which enables us to operate a structured, efficient service to all our satisfied clients.
