Westexe is now part of the Exeter Chiefs Foundation XV
Having supported the Exeter Chiefs Rugby Club for a while now we are pleased to announce that we have been accepted as a new member of the Chiefs Charity, helping support your community.
The Exeter Foundation is a ‘civic trust’ that begun as a result of the desire from the Exeter Chiefs and a group of businessmen, to focus on the future prosperity of the city along with its surrounding areas, for the benefit of all citizens.
Westexe is now part of “The Foundation XV”, which is a collection of 15 local companies that have pledged their support to the foundation agreeing to raise in excess of £1500 per season. Using the money raised by these companies the Foundation then allocates it to projects around the city, aiding future development and maintenance for the city and its surrounding areas.
Westexe Forklifts have got off to a flying start, already planning and organising our first charity event for the Foundation, “A Human Table Football Tournament”. We are inviting 16 teams, ranging from local businesses to current customers of ours. The event is being hosted on our company site in Poltimore and will take place on the 26th July 2015.
